American alternative rock band

Claude says:The San Diego rock band built around brothers Jon and Tim Foreman broke into the mainstream with The Beautiful Letdown in 2003 after starting out on a Christian indie label, then won a Grammy for 2009's Hello Hurricane — the album that's been your engine ever since. You had 202 scattered plays across a few years before November 2009, when Hello Hurricane made it lock in for real, and while the listening has ebbed and surged through multiple stretches (a big run through 2012, another spike in 2022), you keep circling back to those anthemic choruses and the way Jon Foreman writes about restlessness and hope in the same breath.
