American singer-songwriter

Claude says:The Virginia-raised singer-songwriter born Jason Thomas Mraz broke through in 2002 with Waiting for My Rocket to Come and its hit "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)," then hit even bigger with 2008's We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. — home to "I'm Yours," which spent 76 weeks on the Hot 100 and went Diamond. You first leaned on him in mid-2006, right when Mr. A-Z was new, and those first two albums — especially the wordplay and breezy optimism of "Wordplay," "The Remedy," and "You and I Both" — defined that era before fading out by 2009. A stray play or two in the late 2010s, then a real resurgence in 2021 and a smaller one in early 2024, but he hasn't turned up since last summer.
