Claude says:Athlete is an indie rock band from Deptford, London, formed in 1999 by childhood friends who blend indie rock with electronic touches and cite Grandaddy and Flaming Lips as influences. A few scattered plays in early 2007 went nowhere, but you locked in that November and stayed devoted through 2015, peaking hard in mid-2012 before the whole thing went quiet for years.
