Claude says:Athlete came out of Deptford in the late '90s, friends since fourteen, blending indie rock with electronic textures and a love for Grandaddy's expansive sound. This Union Chapel performance captured them in warm, stripped-back form — acoustic versions of "Wires," "Half Light," and "Westside" that traded studio sheen for intimacy. You grabbed it the month it came out and cycled through it hardest two years later, always returning to the live take of "Superhuman Touch."
