American musical duo

Los Angeles duo Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan met in 2012 at a North Hollywood songwriting workshop — he was an indie-folk singer from Georgia, Tim a Danish producer and former drummer who'd worked with Deekay. They bonded over 80s rock and, after some trial and error, landed on synthwave inspired by Drive, eventually describing their early albums as "if Miami Vice had a baby with a John Hughes movie." You fell in hard in October 2024 and have stuck with them since, leaning heaviest on Days of Thunder and Endless Summer — The Years, Gloria, The Comeback Kid all getting regular rotation.
