British singer and musician (born 1950)

Claude says:Peter Gabriel founded Genesis in 1967 while at school in Surrey and became progressive rock royalty before leaving in '75, famous for theatrical costumes and concept albums. He spent the late '70s and early '80s building a solo career that blended art rock with world music and protest (apartheid anthem "Biko"), then broke through globally with So in 1986 — home to "Sledgehammer," which still holds the record for most-played video in MTV history. You've had a handful of one-off moments with him since 2022, mostly circling back to "Solsbury Hill" and that first self-titled record, but he's never really stuck.
