Claude says:Young the Giant's fourth album arrived in 2018 as a deliberate turn inward after the political focus of Home of the Strange — Sameer Gadhia framed it around the idea that you see a different version of yourself in the mirror every day, and the record explores relationships, self-doubt, and the gap between how we present ourselves and the mess we actually feel. You had a few stray plays in 2022 and 2024 that didn't take, but something clicked in July 2025 — seven years after release — and you've been living inside it ever since, especially "Superposition" and the title track.
