Claude says:Young Oceans grew out of Trinity Grace Church in New York, where songwriter Eric Marshall and a crew of musicians started reworking hymns in a SoHo apartment — less Sunday morning, more meditative sprawl. This self-titled debut from 2012 leans into that atmosphere: neo-alternative worship that favors mood and space over structure, built for headphones and long stretches alone. You gave it one spin in early 2024 and moved on — curious enough to press play, but it didn't stick around.
