Claude says:T Bone Burnett's production turns Jakob Dylan and company's second album into a roots-rock masterclass — released in 1996, it went quadruple platinum and swept Grammys for "One Headlight," which hit number one on three Billboard charts and landed on Rolling Stone's greatest pop songs list. You came to it in 2010, 14 years after release, and immediately worked through the whole tracklist that first month before letting it settle into rotation as a reliable return across the next decade and a half. "One Headlight" and "The Difference" still get the most spins, but you've clearly lived with the album versions of "6th Avenue Heartache" and "God Don't Make Lonely Girls" enough to know where they belong.
