Claude says:The Naked and Famous dropped this synth-pop debut in 2010 and it hit number one in New Zealand immediately, riding the success of "Young Blood" — a single that also topped their charts and became the album's undeniable centerpiece. You picked it up two years after release in mid-2012 and ran it hard that summer, then let it sit quiet for nearly a decade before it came roaring back in late 2022. "Young Blood" and "Girls Like You" are the anchors, but you've also spent real time with "Punching in a Dream" and the psychedelic left turn "Spank."
