Claude says:This 2007 folk-rock record brought cellist Joe Kwon into the fold and launched the Avett Brothers into the national spotlight — Rick Rubin signed them for their next album based on this one's success. You locked in four years after release and the eight tracks you've worn down most tell the story: "The Ballad Of Love And Hate" and "The Weight of Lies" still anchor it, but you've also dug into the quieter corners like "I Would Be Sad" and the TV-theme closer "Will You Return."
