Claude says:Spoon's tenth album came out of late-2019 sessions at Jim Eno's Austin studio, where Britt Daniel wanted to capture their live sound rather than piece together parts like they'd done before — Mark Rankin produced, the band expanded to a five-piece, and COVID delayed the finish until 2021. You had a couple of stray plays when it dropped in 2022, but it didn't actually land until August 2026, when you played it hard for a month straight, leaning on "Wild" and "Feels Alright" especially.
