Claude says:Linkin Park called Living Things a synthesis after the experiments of A Thousand Suns — Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin (producing his third and last album with them) pulling rap-rock, electronics, and the old angst back into clearer songs. It hit number one when it dropped in June 2012, and you grabbed it right away, playing it hard that summer with "Roads Untraveled" and "Castle of Glass" leading the way. A few scattered returns since, but it's mostly a 2012 relic now.
