Claude says:Keane's second album came out in June 2006 and landed as a darker, more electronic turn after the piano-pop shine of their debut — the band called it a "sinister fairytale-world-gone-wrong," shaped by internal strain and the weight of sudden fame. You picked it up that September and lived with it hard through mid-2007, then let it sit for over a decade before bringing it back in 2025. "Is It Any Wonder?" and "Atlantic" still get the most return visits, but you clearly trust the whole arc — the moody middle cuts and the instrumental closer included.
