Claude says:Kasabian's second album arrived as they doubled down on their swaggering rock sound, lacing it with a live string section and backing vocals from Joana Glaza — a move that would shape their records going forward. The title track, built around a misdial left on a band member's voicemail and aimed squarely at authority, came with a Crimean War video shot outside Bucharest. You grabbed it in late 2007, a year and change after release, burned through it that December, then circled back hard in mid-2013 — "Shoot the Runner" and the title cut still getting the most air.
