Claude says:Co-written with David Bowie in 1977, this record opens with Hunt Sales's drumbeat built from the Armed Forces Network call signal — the one Pop and Bowie heard while waiting for Starsky & Hutch. The title track hit No. 3 in the Netherlands after Iggy trashed TopPop's stage set (they knew it was coming), then surged again in '96 when Trainspotting made it an anthem all over again. You played it once in early 2019 and once this spring, mostly for "The Passenger."
