Claude says:Houndmouth are an Indiana roots-rock quartet who landed a Rough Trade deal after a single SXSW set in 2012 — their debut mixes Americana grit with tight vocal harmonies and earned them festival slots everywhere from Bonnaroo to Newport Folk. The songs here blend alt-country twang with bluesy groove, warm and lived-in without leaning too hard on either side. You gave this exactly one spin back in 2021, landing on "On the Road" but never circling back.
