Claude says:The Irish singer-songwriter left Juniper in 1998, wandered Europe as a busker, then returned with his career-making album O in 2002. This 2007 live set from a California record shop strips back songs from that debut and its follow-up 9 to just voice and guitar — raw, intimate, and sometimes painfully exposed. You landed on it in late 2012, five years after it came out, and returned with real focus two years later, circling the sparse fury of "Rootless Tree" and the ache in "Grey Room."
