Claude says:Daft Punk's fourth album arrived in 2013 as a full pivot from their looped, sample-heavy approach — they spent years recruiting session players (Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Pharrell) to cut live disco and soft-rock homages to late-'70s Los Angeles, limiting electronics to drum machines and vintage vocoders. You didn't pick it up until twelve years after release, in spring 2025, but it stuck immediately: "Get Lucky" and the Panda Bear collab "Doin' it Right" have been the anchors.
