Icelandic musical group; post-rock band

This Icelandic indietronica outfit built their sound around soft vocals, electronic glitch beats, and a mix of traditional and unconventional instruments — founded in 1997 by Gunnar Örn Tynes and Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason, later joined by twin sisters Gyða and Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir before both eventually left. You came in hard during fall 2008, mostly living inside Go Go Smear the Poison Ivy and the Icelandic-language Loksins erum við engin, then cooled off after mid-2009. A brief check-in with Smilewound in 2016 and a stray play of "Finally We Are No One" this year suggest the catalog still has a pull, even if the obsession has long since faded.
