American indie rock band

The Walkmen are a New York rock band formed in 2000 by veterans of Jonathan FireEater and The Recoys, all raised around Washington, DC. They built their own studio in Harlem and became a key name in the early 2000s post-punk revival, especially for "The Rat." You grabbed a couple plays from Bows + Arrows in 2021, then circled back for a few more from Heaven in 2023, but it's stayed mostly at arm's length.
