Swedish post-punk band

Claude says:The Exploding Boy emerged from Stockholm in 2006 when Johan Sjöblom and Les Andersson started writing together, quickly pulling in Sophie Rimheden to produce and selling out their debut gig at Fight Club just a month after their first rehearsal as a full band. They toured France and Germany behind their self-titled album and a few singles, riding a wave of early Swedish indie-rock buzz before things quieted down. You caught "11:59" off Alarms! once in September — a stray listen that never grew into anything, but the jangly post-punk energy is still rattling around somewhere.
