Canadian rock band

Claude says:Calgary's The Cape May was built around Clinton St. John's poetic dystopian lyrics and the multi-instrumental partnership with Jeff MacLeod — they hit number one on Canadian college radio in 2005, then backed Nina Nastasia across the US and Europe before recording Glass Mountain Roads with Steve Albini in 2006. You latched onto that second record in August 2007 and spent the next couple years riding its moody, guitar-driven narratives hardest in the fall of 2008, then let it quietly fade by 2010 as St. John went solo and the members scattered into Women, Viet Cong (now Preoccupations), and other projects.
