Australian musical group; psychedelic rock musical project

Kevin Parker's one-man psychedelic rock studio became Tame Impala in Perth in 2007, posting Myspace demos that landed a deal with Modular Recordings; the live band pulls from the rotating cast of Pond, his longtime collaborator outfit. You had a couple stray plays back in 2013 and 2014, but the album Lonerism finally took hold in August 2022 — since then it's been a steady presence, with a notable increase in late 2025 when you explored the polarizing Deadbeat and its Jennie-remixed "Dracula" single.
