Australian guitarist

Australian guitarist Plini Roessler-Holgate plays instrumental progressive metal that's technical without being showy — Steve Vai called his 2016 debut Handmade Cities one of the finest melodic guitar records he'd ever heard, and Joe Satriani's knack for catchy phrasing over flashy runs is all over his approach. You locked into him in early 2024 and keep circling back to Handmade Cities, especially "Every Piece Matters" and "Electric Sunrise," the kind of tracks that reward repeat listens without demanding your full attention every time.
