American rock band

Papa Roach came out of Vacaville, California in 1993, named for Jacoby Shaddix's two musical grandfathers: "Papa" Fischer and "Grandpa" Roatch. Their 2000 triple-platinum breakthrough Infest made "Last Resort" a generational nu-metal anthem, peaking at No. 1 on Alternative Songs and earning 6× platinum certification. You had a lone play or two scattered across the 2010s, but it didn't click until April 2024 when Infest and the F.E.A.R. album both landed hard for a few months, then resurfaced briefly late last year before cooling off again.
