English progressive rock band

Oceansize were a Manchester prog-rock outfit formed in 1998 after the members — most not even from Manchester — caught a Mogwai show and decided to chase something experimental, naming themselves after a Jane's Addiction track. They released four albums of sprawling, math-informed post-rock before splitting in 2011. You tried "Music For A Nurse" from Everyone Into Position once last November and it didn't pull you back in — sometimes the mood just doesn't land.
