French electronic music artist

Franck Hueso built Carpenter Brut as a solo darksynth project in Poitiers, naming it after John Carpenter and Charpentier champagne — half joke, half horror-movie devotion. He taught himself electronic production because he couldn't play guitar, and kept his face out of it so the music could speak louder. You caught one play from Sending Hearts To All My Dearies in August, but it hasn't pulled you back yet.
