British rock band

Claude says:Bush formed in London in 1992 but broke big everywhere except the UK — their 1994 debut Sixteen Stone went six-times platinum in the States while home barely noticed. Gavin Rossdale and guitarist Nigel Pulsford bonded over Pixies and the Velvet Underground, though early on they sounded closer to commercial INXS; Sixteen Stone only saw daylight after Hollywood Records passed and Interscope stepped in, with KROQ adding "Everything Zen" to rotation. You had a handful of stray plays back in 2006 and 2007 that didn't amount to much, but it finally clicked in late 2011 — you leaned hard on Sixteen Stone and the greatest hits through early 2012, then kept coming back in waves ever since, most recently riding "The Chemicals Between Us" and the remastered catalog.
