American rock band

Claude says:New Jersey arena rock titans who bridged hair metal and radio-friendly pop in the late '80s, led by Jon Bon Jovi and originally including guitarist Richie Sambora, who left in 2013. Slippery When Wet and New Jersey spawned five No. 1 singles between them, while later hits like "It's My Life" kept them commercially relevant into the 2000s. You've got a handful of scattered plays—Cross Road in 2006, a stray revisit here and there—but Bon Jovi never really landed for you.
