American singer, songwriter, and pianist (born 1949)

Claude says:William Martin Joel was born in the Bronx, grew up on Long Island, and after dropping out of high school became one of the world's best-selling artists — his 1977 breakthrough The Stranger sold over 10 million copies and made Columbia Records history. You've logged a lone play in 2006, then scattered hits years apart: a few spins of the essentials in 2013, a brief detour through Piano Man and The Stranger in 2022, but nothing stuck. Ten plays across twenty years suggests you respect the catalog more than you actually reach for it.
