American rock band

Claude says:New Orleans alt-rock trio who clawed their way through seven years of house parties and frat gigs before signing to Elektra in '94 and watching "Good" hit No. 1 seven weeks later—platinum by year's end, though they've kept releasing records ever since. You had a few stray spins scattered across a decade, but they didn't click until April 2017, and since then they've been a low-key fixture you circle back to every year or two, leaning hardest on "Desperately Wanting" and the Deluxe singles.
