American musical group; rock band

Claude says:Augustana started in southern Illinois in 2002 when Daniel Layus and Josiah Rosen were studying contemporary Christian music at Greenville University, eventually relocating to San Diego and scoring a breakout hit with "Boston" from their 2005 major-label debut All the Stars and Boulevards. You locked into them in spring 2007 — right as "Boston" was all over Scrubs and One Tree Hill — and kept steady through 2012, then drifted away for years before circling back hard in 2020 and again last year. Can't Love, Can't Hurt is clearly the record that holds up best for you now, but the big singalongs from All the Stars still land.
