English musical group; rock band

Claude says:Sheffield four-piece who rode the blog-rock wave to become one of the biggest British guitar bands of the century — their 2006 debut Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not broke sales records and won a Mercury Prize, and AM (2013) gave them their first global crossover. You had a couple stray plays in '08 and '12 that went nowhere, but October 2013 was the real start: thirty plays in a month, almost certainly AM on repeat. That early burst cooled off quickly, and now they're something you circle back to every year or two — never gone for good, but never quite essential either.
