Claude says:YUNGBLUD's scrappy debut for Geffen arrived in the summer of 2018, a short, sharp burst of genre-blurring provocation that announced him as a loudmouth with an opinion on everything from gun violence to mental health. You picked it up the following October and ran through "Die for the Hype" and "Machine Gun" hard, then let it sit quiet for years until it came roaring back in 2023 and peaked last summer when you cycled through nearly the whole tracklist again — "Medication," "California," "Psychotic Kids" — like you were checking whether it still landed the same way.
