Claude says:Conor O'Brien recorded this third Villagers album entirely alone at his home in Malahide, playing every instrument and handling the mix himself — a stark pullback from the fuller sound of {Awayland} that won him an Ivor Novello and hit number one in Ireland. You found it in summer 2026, more than a decade after its release, and quickly burned through "Dawning On Me" and "Courage," the stripped-back folk-rock confessional landing harder than the band's earlier work.
