Claude says:Travis recorded this after their drummer nearly died in a swimming pool accident, holed up in a cottage on Mull and came back with their darkest, angriest album — distorted guitars, trip-hop textures, songs about Iraq and domestic violence. You found it sixteen years after release and went straight to the hard stuff: "Re-Offender," "Peace the Fuck Out," the title track's war protest, though "Love Will Come Through" (the one that sounds like classic Travis) still gets airtime.
