Claude says:Tom Petty's second solo album arrived in 1994 as his first with Rick Rubin and Warner Bros., deliberately sidestepping the Heartbreakers name (though Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench still played all over it) and introducing Steve Ferrone on drums just as Stan Lynch was fired. The original plan was a 25-song double album, but the label trimmed it to 15 tracks — the outtakes eventually fed She's the One and a 2020 expanded reissue. You had a couple of stray spins across the years, but this one finally clicked in mid-2023, when "Wildflowers," "You Don't Know How It Feels," and "Time To Move On" became regular stops.
