Claude says:This 1993 comp became Tom Petty's best-selling album and earned a Diamond certification — it's the gateway dose, though it skips Let Me Up entirely and pulls three tracks from his technically-solo Full Moon Fever. "Mary Jane's Last Dance," the only new original here, hit #1 on rock radio and remains one of his most-played songs. A couple of stray spins in 2012 and 2013 didn't register, but you came back hard in October 2017 and camped out in "The Waiting," "Don't Come Around Here No More," and "Even the Losers" — the deep middle cuts that separate casual fans from believers.
