Claude says:Thom Yorke's first solo outing, produced by Nigel Godrich and co-written with Jonny Greenwood on the title track, landed between Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows with glitchy beats and the fragile falsetto that earned it Mercury and Grammy nominations. You grabbed it right when it dropped in August 2006 and played it hard through 2007, then circled back for a serious run in early 2016 — "The Eraser," "The Clock," and "Black Swan" still getting the most attention. It's been quiet since a brief revisit in late 2022, but those skittering electronics and anxious vocals left their mark.
