Claude says:The Twilight Sad's fifth album came out in January 2019 on Rock Action Records — their first for the label after years on Fat Cat — and their first without founding member Mark Devine, who'd left the band a year earlier. You picked it up in August 2020, right as lockdown listening demanded heavy catharsis, and it's stuck around: you keep landing on "10 Good Reasons for Modern Drugs" and "Auge/Maschine", plus the title-track lyric donor "Sunday Day13", and you're back in deep on it right now, six years after it first clicked.
