Kristian Matsson's 2010 breakthrough earned critical raves — Pitchfork named it one of the year's best, Sputnikmusic's staff put it at #1 — for his raw Dylan-esque guitar work and intimate, urgent delivery. You had a couple of stray plays back in 2021 and 2022 that went nowhere, but this summer it finally clicked: you've been running "Love Is All," "King of Spain," and "Kids on the Run" on repeat, drawn to how he wrings so much drama from just voice and acoustic guitar.
