Claude says:Billy Corgan's Chicago alternative rock outfit has shifted wildly across three decades — from the grunge-flecked dream pop of Siamese Dream to the ornate prog-rock sprawl of Mellon Collie to quieter experiments and eventual reunion records. This single (or EP — it's filed as an album but built around one centerpiece) leans into the Pumpkins' darker, more atmospheric side: heavy reverb, slow builds, a kind of creeping gothic grandeur. You played the title track twice over a year and change but never stuck around — it landed and then disappeared, more a brief detour than any kind of fixation.
