Claude says:Aaron and Bryce Dessner curated this sprawling benefit comp, pulling together indie heavyweights and oddballs for the Red Hot Organization. It's a charity project with real emotional weight — hushed acoustic turns, spectral folk, a few full-band burners — more coherent than you'd expect from a double album with dozens of contributors. You played it a handful of times in early 2010, right after it came out, mostly for "So Far Around the Bend," but it never got past a curious listen.
