Claude says:This 2004 EP came out between Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers and Alligator, with "All the Wine" landing on the latter — a bridge between the National's early scrappier sound and the brooding anthems they'd become known for. You tore through it in January 2009, five years after release, playing "All the Wine" and "About Today" most, then kept a few songs in occasional rotation through summer before moving on.
