Claude says:The Killers released this as the lead single from Wonderful Wonderful in 2017 — a glam-rock strut with disco shimmer, built around a Kool & the Gang sample and Brandon Flowers in a silver jacket spelling out the title. Drummer Ronnie Vannucci said it's a tongue-in-cheek look at twentysomething swagger, the chest-out invincibility that isn't really what manhood means at all; Flowers wrote it to balance the album's quieter songs, a way of reconciling his cockier early self with who he'd become. You gave it a spin when it dropped in 2017 and a couple more the next year, but it never stuck — four plays total, the last one a stray return this past March.
