Claude says:Brandon Flowers wrote this synth-pop lullaby for his wife Tana, who has PTSD, and brought their three sons in to sing backing vocals — when she first heard it, she sobbed. It samples Brian Eno's "An Ending (Ascent)" after years of trying to get his blessing (Eno had turned them down for Sam's Town a decade earlier), and critics split between calling it ethereal and calling it the most boring song Chris Martin never wrote. You played it once in 2018, then once more seven years later — it never quite stuck.
