Claude says:The Frames' sixth record came from sessions in Black Box, France, with Glen Hansard, Colm Mac Con Iomaire, and Graham Hopkins stepping in on drums — a warmer, more restrained sound than Burn the Maps, closer to the ache of For the Birds. Three songs had already surfaced elsewhere: "Falling Slowly" and "When Your Mind's Made Up" appeared on Hansard and Markéta Irglová's Swell Season album the same year, then got reworked here. You found it in early 2009, three years after release, and kept coming back in bursts through 2018 — "Song For Someone" and "Falling Slowly" were the anchors, but you played nearly every track at some point.
