Claude says:The Boxer Rebellion is a London-based indie band fronted by Tennessee native Nathan Nicholson, who moved to the UK in 2000 and built the group from online postings and music school connections. This is a raw concert set captured in Nicholson's home state, leaning hard on the anthemic guitars and wide-open arrangements that made their studio albums sound so urgent. You picked it up in late 2011 and played it heavily through 2012 and 2013, especially the live takes of "Semi-Automatic" and "Evacuate" — proof that some records just hit harder when the room is live.
