Claude says:The Black Keys and Danger Mouse made this in Nashville after Brothers blew up, deliberately chasing hook-first singles rather than slow-burners — it's all uptempo glam-rock and rockabilly strut, pulling from the '50s through '70s, and it worked: "Lonely Boy" became their biggest hit. You had one random play in 2019 that didn't land, but when it finally clicked in early 2022, you hammered it hard — "Lonely Boy" and "Gold on the Ceiling" most, but also the deeper cuts like "Dead and Gone" and the dynamic "Little Black Submarines."
